Our Pet Policy
We Love Pets, Too!
At McHarris Realty, we understand that pets are part of the family. That’s why we’re happy to allow most pets in our rental properties, as long as we can ensure a good experience for both you and your neighbors.
Being a responsible pet owner is important to us, and we ask that all pets be licensed and vaccinated according to Pennsylvania and Lycoming County dog laws. We do have some restrictions based on insurance policies, particularly with certain aggressive dog breeds, but we’re happy to discuss pet eligibility with you.
We also encourage all pets to be spayed or neutered for their health and well-being.
Please note, some apartment buildings may not be ideal for pets, and in those cases, pets will not be allowed.

We require a non-refundable pet deposit of $200 per pet. All pets must be approved by our Property Manager and the owner. Any damage caused by your pet will be deducted from your security deposit, with any additional costs being the tenant’s responsibility.
